WOD 2: 1 Lap of the track 15 thrusters 1:2 work to rest ratio x 3


Hip extension is what drives most of the movements we are going to do in this class. I want you to know what dynamic hip extension feels like so we are doing a lot of it today. Your butts will thank me on Sunday.

  2. What, when, and how much do you recommend eating before the workout? I get up at 5:00am, so I can't wait until after the session to eat.

  4. Kate. This is kind of an individual thing. I eat peanut butter toast with banana each morning. It is bland enough with enough carbs and protein to get me fueled up for a workout.

    Experiment with the timing, but if you are coming to the 6:30 eat right away. If you are coming to the 8:00 then eat before you leave the house. about an hour in my stomach is enough time so it doesn;t come back up.
